How this parcel is drawn

  1. 01

    Seed

    Typed in the Lab. Any 32-bit number is a valid survey.

    seed = 42 (0x0000002a)

    Every trait below is an independent roll: draw(seed, n) = mix(seed + n × 0x9E3779B9).

    The ink list depends on rarity: the tier roll comes first, then the ink is drawn from that tier's inks. District name (roll 10) is Linden Park, main road (roll 11) is Bridge Street.

  3. 03

    Survey window

    A 32 × 32 window is cut from a 720 × 360 land mask of the real Earth (0.5° per pixel, Natural Earth). Scale 1:5M makes one map cell 0.5°, so the window spans 16°. Twenty-four seeded candidates are scored by coastline crossings; the best one is recentred on its landmass.

    centre = mask (349, 109) → 35.3°N 5.3°W → Iberia

  4. 04

    Torn edge and sea level

    A seeded, jagged circle tears the fragment. Land outside the tear becomes faint ghost squares of the wider world. Sea level 0 turns every sea cell with at least 8 of 8 land neighbours into coastal shelf (level 0: no shelf).

    coastline ≈ 5,885 km at 1:5M

  5. 05

    Provinces and roads

    3 provinces. The first capital sits deepest inland; each next capital is the land cell farthest from all capitals so far. Cells join the nearest capital with a little seeded jitter, which gives the dotted borders. Roads link each capital to the nearest earlier one.

  6. 06

    Ink and style

    Near Green ink, gridded style. Provinces take turns through the style's texture set (dots, pixel squares, nested squares) and the ink's five shades.

  7. 07

    Live layers

    • Survey drift step 0: phase 0 mod 16 = 0, wave 0, sway = 0 × 1 / 4 = 0 cells toward SW (Slow pace).
    • Trade routes bitmask 0: none. Each set side draws a dotted sea lane and a glowing gate on that edge.
    • Beacon quiet.
    • Survey lines 0: contour rings engraved at inland depths –, broken by the owner history hash 0x00000000.
    • Waypoint flag not planted.
  8. 08

    Motion

    Even rhythm: one cycle every 6.0 s. Provinces light up in turn every 1.0 s, coastal halftone ripples, roads and capitals glow, lanes flow, nested squares blink, beacon rings expand, the flag waves. Opacity and transform only; the SVG itself stops under reduced motion. Roll 0x7364307a chose the rhythm.

  9. 09

    On-chain metadata

    nft_token returns this SVG as media, a base64 data URI, with media_hash set to the sha256 of the SVG. The metadata is live: media, media_hash and extra change whenever the art does (drift, trade routes, beacon, sea level, zoom, flag). The Verify panel above checks the bytes against the contract.
